Untitled Peter Tripp Project is inspired by a midcentury publicity stunt.

In 1959, New York DJ Peter Tripp conducted a fundraiser for the March of Dimes in which he broadcast, without sleeping, for 201 hours from a booth in Times Square. With his story as both background and springboard, Bundon, Pfeifer & Henderson have spent the last two years composing performance fragments on endurance, absent bodies, and audience.

For two weeks in July, Untitled Peter Tripp Project will present live performances accessed online. The artists will conduct live research into broadcast media and the time-based nature of embodied performance. Deploying visual ephemera, FM radio, networked technologies, and their own bodies and voices.
