A show and sale of miniature artworks
Opening & Talk: Friday, April 5 at 7:00pm
When interacting with a miniature, we momentarily become transported into its world and its size. Objects are transformed, new uses must be found. Buttons become plates, Cheerios become doughnuts, a toothpick becomes a deadly weapon. Branches become trees, and trees become communities. Entrancing, alluring and somewhat ephemeral, miniature art has a way of reaching out and pulling you in.
From April 5th to 27th, Neutral Ground will be hosting a show and sale of miniature artwork. Many local and national artists have made miniature work specially for this occasion. It promises to be an interesting show, so be sure to check it out. You just might find yourself transported to a smaller world.
