Hold on to summer, a moment in time, a memory recorded on cloth – join us in creating your own personal colour story. Join artist Melanie Monique Rose as she shares some of the processes used to create the work in her exhibition HELD – Colour stories from the Land. Participants in this workshop will make their own, hand died silk scarf using natural and locally foraged materials.
Melanie will be sharing bundle dyeing techniques on silk. Space is limited to 10 participants, and registration in advance is required.
All materials are provided with the registration fee (participants are invited to share some of their own natural materials to be used for bundle dying. More information will be shared with those who register.)
